*sigh*

The holidays are finally over...so we thought. Here in South Louisiana, you think that you hit the 12th night of Christmas and nothing else is coming, however...we have a different set of fun in mind.

Saturday night is the Saints playoff game versus Detroit. I myself am personally most excited about this, because I *love* Drew Brees (and deep down, I know that he loves me, too!). Seriously, I love him. I love the whole team, I love the NFL, I love just all of it...so, basically, that means, bring on those dirty Lions and let us sweep the floor with 'em!

Next on the agenda is the BCS championship game--LSU vs Alabama. Now, I'm an LSU alumni, so naturally, I will be wearing my purple and gold and rootin' on the boys. I will also say that I hope this game is better than the last, because me and my bffer, Erin (shout-out, Erin!), were mostly bored and annoyed with that last game because, hello, they just both didn't play that well. I mean, really, that Alabama kicker...terrible. I think that I personally just am not a huge college football fan, because they annoy me that they're not good--thus my love of the NFL! So, we'll see if it proves to be a better game...but, nonetheless...GEAUX TIGERS!

After that craziness, we get to start Mardi Gras season!! I love Mardi Gras on my terms. What that means is, I love Mardi Gras when you have a nice place to go see the parade (preferably not in the ghetto), fun friends to be with, and of course, the most important thing...a place to pee! Those are musts...and, a good corn dog stand nearby, makes me even more happy. So, though I won't see a parade this weekend...I have no doubt that I'll be making plans to go to one soon! And, trying out small slices of king cake along the way (gotta keep that WW goal in mind!).

Besides football, my weekend is a weekend of lazy peacefulness. I plan on reading alot, enjoying my clean house (still thanking God for that day off/extra time yesterday!), and just taking it easy and going with the flow. If you don't know me, you'll know that these are my favorite of weekends. I enjoy the ones with lots of friend and bffer fun, but I also *love* these types, as well. I cherish them just because I don't get them often, but can totally feel God lovin' on me and sending the quiet chill times. ;)

Hope you enjoy one or the other...and find some time for football fabulous-ness! :)

P.S. I'm updating my 52 things list to give you an update on where I stand...so far, so good!
